Description: Occasional, yellow-flowered form not uncommon in area, single, leaves green, flower stalk 6 m tall, 72 mm in diameter at eye level, lateral branches 19, lower few perpendicular to stalk, upper ascending, largest branch ca 1/3 m long, ovary light chartreuse-cream, neck light chartreuse cream-yellow, tube light cream-yellow (-light chartreuse), tepal lobes yellow, the outer lobes with brown tip, filaments, anthers, style yellow; lobes moderately clasping, tube, neck angled, ovary moderately so; measurements after Gentry (1982) in mm, beginning anther dehiscence: tl=56, o=27x8, n=4.5, tu=13(l) x 12(w), outer tepal=11x6.5(base), 4.5(mid), inner tepal=10x5(base), 3.8(mid), fil ins=7,9, fil=43, a=17, sty=38; tl=56, o=26x8.5, n=5.5, tu=16(l) x 12(w), outer tepal=10x6.5(base), 5(mid), inner tepal=9x5.5(base), 4(mid), fil ins=7.5, 8.5, fil=39, a=20, sty=34.
