Description: Uncommon, growing under Prosopis, with one pup 1 m away, leaves gray-green tinged with maroon-rose, flower stalk ca 3-2/3 m tall, 28 mm in diameter at 1-3/4 m up from ground, inflorescence narrowly paniculate, lateral branches 15, perpendicular to perpendicular-ascending to stalk, down 45% of stalk, ovary, neck, tube, tepal lobes light chartreuse, outer tepal lobes flushed with rose-maroon distal 2/3, outer tepal lobes brown apically, filaments, style rose-maroon, cream-chartreuse below, anthers bright light yellow, stigma cream, tube bulging, thick, tepals clasping, ovary somewhat angled; flower measurements after Gentry (1982) in mm: tl=43, o=20x8, n=3, tu=11hx14w, fil ins=5.5, 6.5, fil=47, a=17, outer tepal lobe 11x6.5(base), 5.5(mid), inner tepal lobe 10x6.5(base), 5(mid), sty=38; tl=44, o=21x9, n=1.5, tu=12hx14w, fil ins=6.5, 5.2, fil=46, a=17, outer tepal lobe 10.5x6.2(base), 4.7(mid), inner tepal lobe 10x7(base), 4.5(mid), sty=38.
