Habitats include: seasonal lake (constructed late 1800's as an irrigation reservoir), wetlands, riparian areas, woodlands, shortgrass prairie, all surrounded by a dense urban environment. Barren sand by cre. Growing with Astragulus cicer and Salix exigua.
