Open Pinus edulis - Seriphidium vaseyanum - Chrysothamnus viscidiflorus cover on gentle slope at base of rock ridge; in crevices & against boulders with Oreobatus deliciosus; shrub; occasional locally. Precambrium granodiorite to quartz monzonite substrate.
