Crataegus flava, Phytolacca americana, Eupatorium compositifolium, Haplopappus divaricatus, Chamasyce cordifolia, and Digitaria filiformis var. villosa.
Corollas and pollen an off-white; corollas dull yellowish in age; anthers a sup- pressed purple. Phyllaries showy, pale green proximally, shading to light olive- to brown- ish-gray, with dilated petal-like white mar- gins and tips. Lvs. a flat green, the upper ones reflexed. Stems pale green, some simple, others more or less bushy-branched.
In open shrub-herb community--a somewhat xeric site. Area clearcut, without sizable trees. Repl. 8.
