Large north-south fen; multiple ownser; many arms; large expanses of Carex stricta. Fen elongated and amoeboid with many small armas and large amounts of edge. Oak uplands often inserted intro prairie fen as peninsulas. Oftern large amounts of open water due to beaver flooding. Asjacent to railroad that runs the entire length of the fen. Carex lacustris and Thelypteris palustris dominate area on edge of lake. Other species include Sparganium spp. Impatiens capensis, Galium asprellum, and Eutrochium maculatum. Ground moist and soft. Ground covered in 2014 detritus.
