Large north-south fen; multiple ownser; many arms; large expanses of Carex stricta. Fen elongated and amoeboid with many small armas and large amounts of edge. Oak uplands often inserted intro prairie fen as peninsulas. Oftern large amounts of open water due to beaver flooding. Asjacent to railroad that runs the entire length of the fen. Wooded fen with Toxicodendron vernix and Larix laricina. Carex stricta and Poa pratensis, Rubus pubescens, and Solidago patula dominate shrub later. Other species include Thalictrum dasycarpum, Cornus sericea, and Solidago gigantea.
