Large north-south fen; multiple ownser; many arms; large expanses of Carex stricta. Fen elongated and amoeboid with many small armas and large amounts of edge. Oak uplands often inserted intro prairie fen as peninsulas. Oftern large amounts of open water due to beaver flooding. Asjacent to railroad that runs the entire length of the fen. Carex aquatilis dominated inundated flat on margin of lake. Encroached by Cornus foemina and Phragmites australis. Other species include Iris virginica, Rosa palustris, and Spartina pectinata.
