Turn south onto gravel road at sign for Taylor Fork Ecological Area. Continue south on gravel road, passing through the black gate (close after driving through) and over the small bridge. Gravel road will end in a loop at the entrance to Taylor Fork Ecological Area.

A short plant growing in dense clusters. The plant has six purple, distinctly separate petals at the end of a long hypanthium. The plant is covered in sticky hairs.
