Description: Single, flower stalk ca 5-1/3 m tall, lateral branches 17 perpendicular-ascending to stalk, down 2/5 of stalk, flowers with some pollen and nectar at 11 am, ovary, neck dark chartreuse, tube chartreuse green-orange-golden yellow, tepal lobes dark golden yellow-orange, white tuff at apices within lobes, outer tepals with small brown apices, filaments, style yellow, anthers darker yellow; ovary smooth, neck furrowed, tube mostly smooth, tepals clasping, tube not bulging; measurements after Gentry (1982) in mm, beginning anthesis: tl=50, o=26x6, n=3.5, tu=10.5h x 11.5w, fil ins=7, 5.7, fil=51, a=16, outer tepal=12x6.5(base), 4.2(mid), inner tepal = 11x6.3(base), 4.4(mid), sty=41; tl=46, o=21x5, n=3.8, tu=10h x 13w, fil=6.5, 5, fil=47, a=14, outer tepal=12.5x7.5(base), 5(mid), inner tepal=11x6(base), 3.5(mid), sty=42.
