Description: Locally common, some plants in population with fruits, this plant with 1 small pup ca 1 m away, leaves light gray-green, flower stalk ca 7 m tall, 62 mm in diameter at 1-3/4 m from ground, gray-green streaked with maroon-purple, lateral branches 22, perpendicular-ascending, down 45% of stalk; flowers with ovary chartreuse green, neck constricted, light chartreuse green, tube cream - light chartreuse green, tepal lobes light yellow quickly becoming golden yellow distal 7/8, outer tepals with inconspicuous brown apices, filaments, style llight yellow with orange-red flush, anthers yellow; measurements after Gentry (1982) in mm: tl=47, o=21x7, n=5, tu=11(l)x13(w), fil ins=5.2, 5.5, fil=45, a=14 (empty), outer tepal=13x9(base), 7(mid), inner tepal=12x7(base), 4.4(mid), sty=47; tl=44, o=21.5x7, n=4.5, tu=11(l)x13(w), fil ins=4.5, 5, fil=44, a=14 (empty), outer tepal=12.5x9(base), 6.2(mid), inner tepal=11.5x8(base), 5.2(mid), sty=49; ovary somewhat ridged, tube much bulging, tepals clasping.
