Sabina monosperma - Bouteloua curtipendula, grassland with scattered Pinus edulis & Quercus pungens var. vaseyana; with Hymenothrix wrightii, Senecio multicapitatus, Oligosporus dracunculus, Brickellia lemonii, Gutierrezia microcephala; stems woody based, sprawling & loosely matted; tepals white, outer with external red mid-vein, fading pinkish; locally common, widespread.
