Sunny NW-facing boulders and volcanic rock outcrops in Madrean woodland.
Common. Compact clump of about 15 stems, ca 6 inches tall at time of pressing. Mummified plant partly rehydrated, pressed, and mounted by ADZ (Alan Zimmerman) at Drylands Institute in 1991. Phytochemical voucher cited as E. triglochidiatus by J. Miller, Syst. Bot. 13:175. 1988.
