Habitat: Saturated mudflats along shore of pond created in 2002 as wetland mitigation. Associates: Scirpus validus, Eleocharis obtusa, E. erythropoda, Typha latifolia, Bidens cernua, B. tripartita, Alisma plantago-aquatica, Agrostis stolonifera. Frequent along northern and eastern edge of pond. Petal color is lavender-pink. Soil pH likely very high. Recumbent stems root. All plants will be sprayed with herbicide this year.
