Sphaeralcea grossulariaefolia (?) #6602, etc. The most typical in inflorescence are #6695 and 6696 but all have depressed fruits with reniform carpels which at most are merely mucronate. #6611 is an extreme form with loose inflorescence and very large flowers but appears related to #6602. This southern form may be distinct from typical grossulariaefolia. Miss Eastwood refers it to S. rusbyi which appears to be nearly related, although its narrow leaf segments give it distinct appearance.
Many similar plants growing in water at this locality. Carpels reniform, deeply notched, very similar to those of #4137(S. rusbyi) but more deeply notched and more distictly mucronate.
