Fr oblong-linear, slightly flattened laterally, glabrous; primary ribs obsolete, but 4 secondary ones and the face of the commissure prominently corky; oil-tubes small, solitary under the secondary ribs, 2 on the commissure, ±embedded in the seed; carpophore bifid to the base; umbels compound, lf-opposed; invol of a few foliaceous, entire or divided bracts; bractlets resembling the bracts; rays few, spreading; pedicels short; sep prominent, linear, unequal; pet white; styles very short, the stylopodium conic; slender, taprooted, leafy-stemmed annuals with pinnately decompound lvs and short, linear ultimate segments. Monospecific.
